So I resigned from the SAG Board of Directors this week.

There is this bullshit “non-disparagement” agreement SAG signed with AFTRA in order to appease that scumbag organization and to try to keep them from undercutting us in ALL areas.

The last straw for me was this: After years of AFTRA proclaiming they “would never touch FILM”, they did and I bet this is not the first time.

So, AFTRA can do whatever they want and SAG is supposed to shut up and take it.

Bullshit.

Looking for August 1st Roommate

Hey ya’ll. Here’s the deal: Our one roommate is moving out and we need someone to take over the room. We live in a really nice area of Astoria, right across the street from Astoria Park (Astoria Park South is our street). If you’ve ever been here, you know we have a hugeeee apartment for what we pay. Rent is $645 a month (provided it doesn’t get raised on us again when the lease renewal comes up) and utilities are $10 for Internet and ~$50-$60 for electric per person. Tons of free technology to use, big screen TV and sound system, Playstation 3, blah blah blah. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

As a nice feature, this weekend on The Veneziani Journal, boy genius (literally) Horatio Boedihardjo, who’s been working on his PhD at Oxford since he was 17-years-old, joins us and poses us with a rather difficult question:

How about Maths puzzle? Have you seen this one

There are 5 pirates A,B,C,D and E are trying to divide 100 coins. The rule is: A will propose how to divide the money between the five. If there is strictly more than half of the pirates voting for the proposal, then he will be shot dead. Then the next pirate will give his proposal. then they vote again, etc.

The question is what should A’s proposal be.
